Charles Chan (Chan Chi Chung 陳志忠) is visiting HK. WYK alumni are invited to join a dinner gathering.:

Venue: King Wah Chinese Restaurant 京華酒樓, 2/F Allied Plaza 聯合廣場 The reservation is under Mr Chan.

It is happy to know that Lok Wing Hung (駱永雄) who is also visiting HK will join the dinner. This is a rare occasion that we can meet two alumni living overseas in one dinner. Please see if you are available to attend too.

轉載 Requiem Mass for the late Mrs. Ma Wong Kit Kwan Cecilia (27 Nov 2009)


Mrs. Ma Wong Kit Kwan Cecilia, who served in Wah Yan College Kowloon from 1945 to 1978 for 33 years, passed away on 31 October 2009. May her soul rest in peace.

Requiem Mass for the eternal repose of her soul (presided by Fr. Stephen Chow, S.J.) will be on Friday, 27 November, at 8:00pm at Hong Kong Funeral Parlour and Final Commendation (presided by Fr. A. Deignan, S.J.) on Saturday, 28 November, at 9:00am. The cortege will then proceed to Cape Collinson Crematoria.

Mrs. Ma Wong Kit-Kwan, R.I.P.

Miss Wong Kit Kwan (Mrs Ma) passed away on October 31. She was the first female teacher in WYK. She taught from 1945 to 1978, mainly Chinese subjects to lower Forms. She was fondly referred to as the Thin Madam by her pupils.

A Forum on "Freedom, self-discipline and responsibility in a Jesuit school" organised by our alma mater and Students' Association, co-organised by Parents' Association will be held on 13 November 2009 (Fri). The details are as follows:

Date: 13 November 2009 (Friday)
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Venue: School hall

Objective of this Forum is to enable Students, School Administrators, Fathers, Teachers, Parents and Alumni to understand each other's views on freedom, self-discipline and responsibility in Wah Yan as a Jesuit school. For details, please refer to the information sheet attached. All alumni are welcomed.
